A chick with a Jetta? I'll believe it when I see it. I got the 'rents 1989 Dodge Caravan the summer before my senior year of college. "Gwen" was the car I learned to drive on and I had loads of practice lugging her back and forth from Ohio without a tape or CD player. I still miss her and harbor the tiniest bit of resentment toward my little sister for her untimely demise.
1969 Pontiac Firebird, original straight six 4.1 liter with overhead cam, automatic transmission. Try finding an f-ing factory re-built starter for THAT! The guys at the pontiac dealership just stared at me when I told them what motor was in it and what I needed, new starter. They came back and asked me twice if I was sure that was what I had. I still have the car, 8 years later. I got it just before my 16th b-day and right now it is in Norway, where I will be in a little over a month. Very soon it is going to be fully restored and I can't freakin' wait! I'll post pics as soon as it happens.
