What car do you have? This is probably been done on FFA before, but I just had to break in this new forum. Post picture(s) if applicable, I have a white 1997 Saturn SL2 and it's rolling with 94500 miles. I'll see about posting a picture in a few days.
Ok, whadda ya drive? 1999 Toyota Camry with a crappy CD player that skips in the morning until it "warms" up...
1992 Maui Blue Chevy Lumina Euro with a red stripe. . . BUT I used to drive a 1986 Chevy Caprice Classic Station Wagon, two-tone gray with a red stripe. Talk about a sweet ride.
'93 Camry that I drive to work and around, '91 Wrangler strictly as a toy (that's wrapped up right now). The GF has a '01 Jetta Wagon.
2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager & 1996 Ford Taurus Wagon. 3 kids, you know, gotta haul them around. I'm thinking of getting rid of the Taurus and getting an SUV (oh my gosh, I'll be supporting the terorists then!). This very snowy Winter has gotten me thinking that way. I'm not too happy with the minivan and would not recommend the Chrysler/Dodge. A number of things have had to be replaced already.
1986 Plymouth Horizon......white....loved it..... Upgraded to a 1989 Chrysler LeBaron convertible when I turned 17....good times. anyone want to smoke some pot?
My junior year in HS my parents got me a brand new cherry red 1988 Mustang GT for my birthday in September. I totalled the damn thing several months later on xmas eve.
Bright red 1966 Mustang Coupe that was sort of a resto-mod that my dad bought me for my 16th birthday. It had the original 289 and black pony interior, but it also had big fat tires on the back, deep dish Cragers (hey, they were cool back then!), and a great Alpine stereo system. My step-brother totalled it when I was out of town and he got the keys from my dad to "move it out of his basketball area in the driveway." Bastage, I never have forgiven him.
Dude, I think I'm gonna get the new one this time next year! I want the roadster, and by then I can give back my current car (IS 300) without much penalty. The old one had a twin turbo that was pretty sweet. But I guess you need to have a second car if you get the new Z b'cause of the weather where I live, so I'll be in probably an 88 Wrangler for at least 7 months out of the year!
Hate to quote myself but I've been doing research on the Infiniti G35 coupe as well. Anyone drive one/know anyone with one? I was under the impression that this one had the same frame/chasis as the Z, but I guess it doesn't? Anyway, I am surprised to see that the Infiniti is cheaper than Nissan brother the Z??? I wonder if that is because of the demand right now. Anyone know any details - or is it just a matter of Nissan maybe goofing a bit with the launch of similar cars with diff. brands.
1976 Plymouth Volare station wagon, "Spanish Gold", three on the floor, stick about 3 feet long. Affectionately known as the Tank or the UAV (Urban Assault Vehicle). The greatest car ever made. I always knew my girlfriend loved me for me and not my car.
Had a 1981 Audi 4000, dark blue. It's a classic now, but my brother owns it while I went on to another Audi.
VW Beetle. Bought it for £1 from a guy 2 doors down from me. It only had half an engine, but as I was only 10 years old at the time I didn't care. I had it for a year, but had to abandon it when we moved.
My first car was a brown 1977 Mini 850. Got it from my cousin for a hundred quid. The chicks loved it "oh its so cute!". This was during my college years, once I fit 8 people in the little thing... Like this but brown: http://www.theminifarm.com/image03.jpg The new BMW minis are not like real minis.
