It's 2-1 Villa in the 2nd half. Guzan is on the bench and Lichaj isn't. It's notable that Given has been taking goal kicks with his left foot and has been walking around gingerly. He injured his groin in the 1st game so may still be feeling the effects of that. Also, Luke Young came off with an injury(presumably) and now Stephen Warnock is at RB.

I'm not sure why Samba isn't playing, but the Blackburn back line isn't doing too well. It's 3-1 now and the last goal was put on a tee for Bent by Handley, the young CB. I wonder if George John is watching.

    Rovers look poor.

That's unfortunate for them. They probably didn't want to rush Nelsen back like that. They need these rumored signings ASAP.
Collins was again taking the goal kicks for him at the end of the game. I wouldn't be surprised if he sits out a game or two. If they keep throwing him out there, it'll never get better. Hopefully Guzan will at least start the Carling Cup games. As for Lichaj, I suspect another loan is on the cards.
