Looks like Guus Hiddink is the favourite to land the Australian coaching job which I feel will be an excellent signing considering the way he has run PSV Eindhoven and South Korea recently. Link - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/4669189.stm
http://www.yonhapnews.co.kr/news/20050711/110501000020050711102741K2.html Eck, according to this Yonhap report (in korean) Hiddink has already agreed to take Australia's offer.
Wow .. that's a real coup for FFA. He'll introduce defensive discipline at the very least .. doubt he'll have as much impact as he did with SK, given that a large part of what he did with SK had to do with fitness and diet .. which led to the energiser bunny exploits during WC2002.
are u serious about this....shiat...i can't believe this...I won't believe it until it is posted in PSV's website....
Poor Australia they really need a good coach to qualify or they will miss out of the 2006 one too and that will be yet another big blow for them.. if they dont qualify to wc2006 australia will have serious trouble in the asian cup 2007 agasint the big names who already are qualified to wc2006 Australia better qualify or they wont have anything do to for yet another 4 years... While countries such as Iran.. i am persian..thats why i mentioned Iran will have plenty to do BEFORE and AFTER wc2006.. We will have WAFF Cup We will have asian cup qualifications We will have wc2006 Iran is hosting 2 LG cups in Mashad and Tehran with teams such as Chile-Lybia-Iraq-Austria are playing in.. and with 6 friendlys coming up agasint Worlds Biggest names for the Wc2006 Preperation i live in Australia soo..good luck to them..they will have a hard time agasint South Americans..BUT Everyone seems to be very confident that Australia will ease through Solomon Islands in the 2 games leg..even though socces is Unpredictable..
Pretty good for australia. PS, u r karimi_nr1 from persianfootball.com baba, it's so obvious from the way u talk and the fact that u live in australia, lol
Uh...did Park's ManU signing piss him off this much? This really disappoints me if true... But then again...he had every thing to lose by signing on again with Korea.
