'Kuwait, Iraq and Yemen are currently in the United Arab Emirates.'

'Kuwait and Iraq are currently staying in the same hotel and Iraq requested for the Kuwait to play a friendly match with them but it was rejected. FA of Iraq President Hussein Said then requested for a joint training session with their Kuwaiti counterparts. The Kuwaiti officials still has not made a decision on it.'

I'm rooting for either UAE or Oman but something tells me that Bahrain might spring a few surprises here.

I am taking an interest in Gulf Cup.

But I need some help. Does anyone know where I can get news and match reports about this competition in English (if there is any)?

    Thanks.

I guess that means its not regulated by Fifa and not recognized.
    Interesting.

Yes, FIFA recognises this tourny:) sepp platter showed up in the last tourny in Kuwait... regional tourny's that are not based on race or religion are usually recognised by FIFA... unlike the Arabs cup which is based on race, the Gulf cup is recognised by FIFA as a regional tournament.

I dont see what your getting at.....even if it isn't recognized by Fifa why does it matter? It's a good chance for fans of gulf teams to enjoy watching their teams play....
