    Guinea-DR Congo updates [R]

    After 30', 0-0.

Guinea seems to have a slight edge in play but it's been a sloppy game. DRC's Lua Lua had the best chance of the game as he raced past the Guinean defense but put his shot wide. Possession is 50-50.

    Halftime...
    DRC-Guinea: 1-0.

The Congolese were much more fluid in the 2nd part of the 1st half. Guinea's play was very disjointed. :-(

66'. Still 0-1 bad guys. Guinea's Pascal Feindounou just slammed one off the bar.

Feindouno gives Guinea the lead at 80'. A shot by Fode Mansare hit the bar but the Bordeaux forward was there to put it in the back of the net.

    Guinea-DRC: 2-1

DR Congo's defense seems to be playing horrible in this second half...am I correct? (Note: I'm just reading the text at bbc)

according to espn's soccernet. 35,000 were at the game. Didn't know so many people from DRC and Guinea could afford the plane tix.

Football356.fr's text says 4264 spectators and RFI's audio coverage said fewer than 5000. There certainly wasn't a ton of noise when either team scored.

They weren't great but Guinea dominated the midfield in the 2nd half and their play was much more fluid than in the 1st. DRC's defense was under a lot of pressure. They certainly rued several missed chances from the 1st.
