Not the same, Maradona had good players in his squad This team is unsaveable. Even if Ochoa puts out MOM performances every game, they are not going to score enough goals to win games
He's not. Last i heard he was on trial at DIM before the season began.. didn't make the cut Who knows where he ended up at
El poderoso dela montana aka Independiente Medellin Here is a video of him on trial [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rULJZ1hxwUs"]José Silverio Rocchi en medellin cosmovision.mpg - YouTube[/ame]
They'd get more money from him now than after they are relegated. A team loses much of its negotiating power after relegation since players want out and teams buying know this. Teams also look to shed their more expensive contracts if the relegation doesn't trigger an automatic wage reduction since revenues are substantially reduced after relegation. Their budget was only €16 million to begin with. I don't know how much he makes but I would imagine he earns more than most on that team...
He would be helping the team out more if he was sold in January. then maybe they can use the money they get from the transfer to get some better players to try and help them stay up.
I thought Bordeaux was a good team, they only have two more points than Ajaccio, whos dead last. Sucks for Memo, an opportunity to pick up points against a fellow relegation zone team and the defense gives up 2 goals in under half an hour.
they have a crappy D line what do you expect i say they will sell ochoa Jan and get 1 or 2 better d players and maybe a striker (on loan) that's what they need
Ajaccio was the only team that gave him a save haven after the whole drug fiasco, if he were to move in January that would be a big fuck you to the club and fans. He at least needs to give them a full season.
well depends, if they get some money for a player they only had for 6 months and on a free I don't think they would take it as a FU, the club at least.
i doubt ajaccio are thinking of selling arguably their best player midway through the season. if anything, they will be looking to bolster their squad in the transfer window with the little money they have.
They'd get more money for him now than they would after being relegated. They can't stay up if they don't win games and you need goals to do that. Unless they are completely lowballed by teams, I think he's gone in January.
If they sell Ochoa and buy some better attacking players, they might be able to score goals and stay up. They are most likely screwed either way but they will go down if they don't score goals.
I can not believe that some of you are actually thinking that he might be transferred this winter break. He will not go anywhere unless the team wants him out. Ajaccio is willing to let him go but i doubt Memo will leave. If he leaves it will be during the summer. He must give the team that gave him the opportunity in Europe respect and honor at least a whole year. This talk should end about him leaving in January and just stick to how he is doing. i know its a long shot for some of you, but be realistic.
