Due to political developments, this forum has become wonderfully busy as of late. We have many new and interesting voices. This makes for a better forum.

However, to avoid glutting the boards, we need to be more discerning about starting threads.

Some questions to ask yourself before starting a new thread:

    1) Am I introducing a topic that's not being replicated in other threads?

    2) Is my thread-starter politically relevant AND newsworthy?

    3) My thread is intentionally rhetorical, but is it backed up by new info, facts, or news items?

For example, "Clinton Sux" and "Bush Sux" threads are no longer acceptable unless you have new and interesting info as to why they suck. Dante and I will lock any threads that we feel serve no purpose.

Yes I've edited this sticky and binned most of the whiney replies.
