Thanks, but all this proves is that I can use Google. OK here we go with a new one (this one should be relatively easy): - my favorite player is Ryan Giggs - I have played for two different teams during my MLS career - I've never been capped at the senior NT level - I have played an average of 706 minutes per season over my MLS career Who am I?
I'm a Googlist too but alas, I failed. Congrats on getting a hard one (hey.. stop thinking that way).
Nobody's got mine yet? Two more clues: - I have three career MLS goals - I have played in an MLS Cup final but never at a US Open Cup final who am I?
Yes. He has played for two different MLS teams - DC United and Chicago Fire He has not yet been capped for the senior NT His favorite player is Ryan Giggs (a left midfielder, surprise! ) He has played an average of 706 minutes per season over his MLS career: DC United in 2002 = 28 minutes Chicago Fire in 2003 = 1384 minutes 28 + 1384 = 1412/2= 706 He was subbed in at the MLS Cup 2003 final but didn't play a single minute in the US Open Cup final. Congrats!
Wasn't he a Raging Rhino when they made their run to the USOC? Or was he there earlier? And to echo what Dave Brull said, welcome to the seamy underbelly of pre-MLS US Soccer.
Actually I'm only a US soccer fan since 2001. The first full MLS game I watched was the 2001 MLS Cup final. The first two US NT games I ever watched were: USA 2-3 Honduras Costa Rica 2-0 USA Since then I've followed the US NT fanatically and MLS is my favorite league (I don't think MLS is the best league in the world or anything like that, but it is definitely my favorite). So all I know about US soccer prior to the end of 2001 I've learned through TV and the internet. And I'm still constantly learning things, in part thanks to great threads like this.
