Hopefully they get scouted by colleges in the states so they can play at a higher level.

Or Canada, especially since two Guatemalans have already played there: Maria Fernanda Rossell and Diana Burmester, both who were part of the first ever Women's national tam that won the UNCAF Cup in 1999. Rossell is the founder, president, and still player of Futsal Club Champions CFS, the current national champions.

María Alejandra De León Guzmán (Profutbol-Futsal)
    Cinthya Gabriela Lopez Soto (Unifut)

The top scorer of the Apertura tournament, Rocío Velásquez, was dropped from the squad. Calderon must not have been impressed with her (but the line of forwards selected seems quite good).

As long as it's not the goalkeeper. That chick is built like a brick sh*thouse. LOL

^ Actually the keeper for that game was Ana Spross who is no longer active and was quite the veteran. The current keepers are bit more fit.

Oh, she was fat, no P.C. needed. But she really was a veteran, at 28, compared with the rest of the team, who were mostly 18 to 20 year olds.

Here's my best guess of how the ladies' team is going to look:

    ------------------Lemus------------------
    Rivera----C.Monterroso----Brooks----Ramos
    -----------------Lohaiza-----------------
    ---Martinez-------Perez------Suriano-----
    -------M.Monterroso----Pineda------------

Guatemala women's national team vs Mexico

Temperatures are about -7 ºC (29º F) outside ,but about 18 ºC (64º F) inside the stadium, so they should be comfortable enough I think. The other teams in Guate's group are the US and Rep. Dom., who will face each other right after Gua-Mex.Tournament started today with CRC 2-0 CUB and CAN 6-0 HAI in the other group. Costa Rica looked very, very good against Cuba.

If they lose to RD they should never participate anywhere.

    USA 10-0 Chapinas.

They should be banned from participating in any tournament. What a waste of resources from the fed.

It was 13-0. This female NT is a waste of money and resources.
