Re: Guatemala [NSR] Random-News-Info-Sports Me parece a mí al leer el artículo que por alguna razón los mexicanos colocaron los monumentos mal por error y no por malas intenciones y los dejaron allí -- por razones mas tecnológicas que políticas. Una frontera no se reubica asi por asi --. Que hayan querido proponer que Guatemala acepte el "cambio" da mas risa que otra cosa. Seguramente el corregir la posición de los marcadores se llevará a cabo eventualmente, despues de mucha discusión -- que debería ser, pues, mas tecnológica y logística que política.

No joke: Guatemalan comedian wins presidency in landslide I feel like Donald Trump's shot at the US presidency looks even more likely now. Anyway, Morales wants to annex Belize; it would be interesting to see if he actually goes for it. I just hope he can at least reduce gang violence and people fleeing north of the border.

The Belize issue needs to die. I understand the British stole most of Belize's current borders but both countries need to be in friendly terms. Btw most Belizeans look like the average Guatemalan or Salvadoran. The country is becoming more mestizo due to immigration and high birthrates. Also the local Mayan population.
