hopefully within the next days or weeks, i think he's scheduled to call up 20-25 players on the US/Chile tour.

 

Games are next week and there wont be a full squad until mid next week. Doesn't sound like a smart thing to do with qualifiers being so close. Who cares if St. Lucia isn't a huge force to reckon with, it still leaves us open to fail.

 

St Lucia lost 1-6 to Antigua & Barbuda this week.

 

Dont count your chickens before they hatch. Guate national teams have been a HUMONGUS example of that in the U-17 WC, Olympic Qualfiers and our last WCQ in 06. I'd rather know we were well prepared for all games, then to show up with a half ass squad and lose, or tie.

i bet the blue jerseys are gonna be with no stripe but the white one is tight though. the home game for St Lucia vs Guate is gonna be at the LA Memorial Coliseum! Commerce City in Colorado is the gonna the venue for US vs Guatemala for WC Qualifier, Nov, 19, '08.

 

According to NuestroSoccer the game will be played at the LA Coliseum, since there's a Galaxy game at the Home Depot Center on the 21. But it may also be changed to the 22nd.

HOWEVER all the news I've read on this seems to still be tentative. So it may still be played in St. Lucia.

This is a lie, I was there, the crowd went nuts when Ruiz entered the game.

In any event, I don't think the Galaxy expects Gordon and Buddle to keep performing the way they are, these are average players, they're merely on a hot streak.

When all is said in done Ruiz will stay in L.A., he is what the team needs to reach that elite level. If he's healthy and fit of course, we'll see what happens, we all know the national team needs him.
