6 saves including 4 diving saves , from inside box Vs Barcelona. If it weren't for him, scoreline would read 0-6 or worse. He looked so disappointed with defense in that goal we conceded where CBs stopped thinking the guy was offside while TC still tried making a save.

I discovered that he played 154 games for Atletico Madrid and then, exactly 154 games for Chelsea. He already played 175 games for us. He is now more of a Real Madrid player than Atletico Madrid or Chelsea. And what a performance.
Respect to him for his incredible form the last 2 seasons after the first 2 were a horror show with him getting a lot of unwarranted hate. He is incredible and should be top 5 Balondor as well.
Courtois was a beast in our league winning season. GK/Defense and Benzema's goals won that league title. He was only bad in 2018-19.

Best goalkeeper in the world and Real Madrid legend. We have been spoiled by amazing goalkeepers, but IMHO Courtois is better than Keylor and Iker at their peaks. This was a historic performance.
He took a lot of criticism in his first season. That didn't break him and it fueled him to reach the best level he's ever been. Epitome of RM mentality and dealing with pressure at the biggest club in the world.

I almost never comment about the keepers because it’s not a topic I enjoy. But man, Courtois has been stellar for some time now and today he really cemented his legacy at the club. Came up huge. Happy for the guy, he wanted badly to come to Madrid and it’s all paying off now. Bravo.
Yes, he seems to enjoy being at Real Madrid, and is delivering world-class performances consistently. We're lucky to have him, he's great.

I didn’t know this when we signed him but gradually after hearing him speak and having been with us for a few years I’ve come to know that he has elite mentality. Just like the some others in this group. It’s hard to keep people like that down. They always make it. Just glad he’s on our side. This is a special group and I hope the youngsters are learning from them.

LOL seriously. I'd rather he not have to have record breaking seasons to win major trophies. It's a blessing to have him, but it's not a good look if you're goalkeeper has to save you from trouble so often.
Courtois wouldn't only be the top keeper in England, he's the top keeper in the world and there is frankly no one close. Keep fueling the monster.
