No I mean will they count our goals as away goals if we win 2-1? 3-2? What is the policy? 1 game was in Madrid, the other will be in Portugal
That's definitely an unfair advantage for us since they will not be playing in their home. I like it!
Yeah, should be an advantage albeit not a huge on sincea City has no history or a feared stadium. Personally I'm not a fan of the away goals rule.
Courtois has been brilliant since his fragile start to the season. I wrote him off, but he's come back better than ever. He's as good if not better than he was during those Atletico days.
Mental state is imperative in goal keeping. For him to start as poorly as he did, then to be under intense criticism & pressure from the fanbase, and to turn it out around so quickly and perform at this level is damn near incredible. You have to be extremely mentally strong to what he’s done. Right now he’s the best goal keeper in the world, I say that with a straight face & no BS.
ZZ did us a favour rejecting Kepa in January. Courtois is a proven world class GK and still only 28. Given his size advantage, no reason he can't have several more seasons at a high level. And unlike DDG, Courtois always played like a big GK with great command in aerial game.

the most improved player this year,he was so bad at his first year....but now he is top 3 goalkeeprs in the world. Best Real Madrid defence ever.

Difficult, but not impossible

Never seen a player redeem himself quite like this guy has. He has been huge for us this season and we will need every bit of his greatness if we are to do anything in the CL
One of the biggest reasons for the league title this season. Absolute class and what a huge lifesaver he has been for Madrid this season. Pretty much made us forget Keylor Navas. He is the prime example of how one bad season doesn't need to define you. I hope Eden is taking notes from him. From during lockdown on how Courtois winning Zamora with just 20 goals conceded in 34 games all the more impressive considering the low he hit near start of season: https://t.co/7UxmlXzTDq— Dermot Corrigan (@dermotmcorrigan) July 16, 2020
I didn't write him off but I thought maybe he just wasn't a good fit for our "style" of play and tactics. He's proven me wrong and improved his ball skills. Props Tibo.
He completely believed in himself and what he could bring to the team from the start, he made a few statements to that effect early on when he wasn’t even doing that well, but he believed
