That's definitely an unfair advantage for us since they will not be playing in their home. I like it!

 

Yeah, should be an advantage albeit not a huge on sincea City has no history or a feared stadium.

Mental state is imperative in goal keeping. For him to start as poorly as he did, then to be under intense criticism & pressure from the fanbase, and to turn it out around so quickly and perform at this level is damn near incredible. You have to be extremely mentally strong to what he’s done.

Right now he’s the best goal keeper in the world, I say that with a straight face & no BS.

 

ZZ did us a favour rejecting Kepa in January. Courtois is a proven world class GK and still only 28. Given his size advantage, no reason he can't have several more seasons at a high level. And unlike DDG, Courtois always played like a big GK with great command in aerial game.

For Courtois to surpass Buyo’s all time record, he will need to get a clean sheet in 3 of our 4 remaining matches.

Difficult, but not impossible

 

Never seen a player redeem himself quite like this guy has.

He has been huge for us this season and we will need every bit of his greatness if we are to do anything in the CL

I didn't write him off but I thought maybe he just wasn't a good fit for our "style" of play and tactics. He's proven me wrong and improved his ball skills. Props Tibo.
