While I am not tired of the match up, these gimmicky bets are getting a little stale. But I'll give this to Dougie - he doesn't know how to quit when he is ahead.

Now there's a bet that means something. this other car washing bull was stupid.

GIve some underpriveliged kids a chance to see a game, now that's cool.

Good news on the injury front. Reports are that Albright and Ngwenya will be back and available to play on Saturday. Hopefully we'll see Gordon and Kirovksi start and then Enfield and Ngwenya sub in and Naldo stay on the bench...

I am not certain that gordon and Kirovski really compliment each other at all. They seem to be similar players. Perhaps herc with Gordon and Kiro with Enfield?

Gordon's a target forward. Kiro's best as a withdrawn forward. Not saying they are great at what they do, but those are their best positions and they should compliment each other - SHOULD being the key word there.

Herc, Enfield, Gordon, Kiro. As long as there is no Naldo in any permutation of forward tandems then I'm happy.

Sure they compliment each other. I overheard the following at a recent practice:

    Kirovski: Nice haircut Gordo! Supercuts?
Gordon: Where else am I gonna go with my lousy salary? Ooh, cool shoes!
    Kirovski: Thanks!

Whether they complement each other is an entirely different matter . . .

Jamaica is down 2-0 to the USA with 45min to go and Costa Rica was just eliminated by Honduras so it looks like we've got Marshall and Umana on the backline for Monday's match against Real Madrid.

Chivas will be missing Matt Taylor, who is out with a hernia. Taylor was a major force in the Chivas win against a defense-deprived RSL, so their chances for big win are slim indeed.

    I predict 3-0, Galaxy.

So it's an FSN problem? I'm trying to watch on Direct Kick, and I'm getting awfully sick of the theme music.

I was gearing up a rant for a Cox rep right now--they screwed up my Direct Kick a couple weeks back--but it looks like we've got a bigger problem?

    Baseball running over or something?

most likely they are having trouble getting a satellite uplink from the HDC. FSN West needs that in order to show the game, and direct kick just shows the FSN West feed :(
