Suazo will be itching to score in a world cup...I think he will give us joy against Switzerland.

 

I hope so. It's either going to be boom or bust for us I feel.

 

I refuse to be too let down...its a world cup, we haven't been here in a while, we just have to celebrate the ocassion. I'll push my worries aside.

Hi everybody, before the WC started my only wish for this participation of Chile, was the same as yours, posteador. I`m 46 years old, so in every WC before in which we participated, during my life, I was anxious to say that at least once we would have won a WC match. In the past, there were very good teams and extraordinary players, but luck didn`t appear for any one of them, there was always something that avoided the posibility to cheer for a victory, sometimes it was injuries, sometimes it was the weather, sometimes luck, sometimes the referee and of course most of the times it was due to the fortune and quality of the other team, but the fact is that we never won a game in all of these years. I was very afraid that in this WC, our luck would be the same as in the past. So after our victory against Honduras, the impossible was made possible, from now on anything can happen, and now I feel proud and very, very happy once again to be a part of this joy that affects most of us in Chile. If the team looses the next games, to me it doesn`t matter any longer, since we finally won a game in the WC. Of course I want them to continue having great games, and I encourage the enthusiasm of the players, since they achieved what most of the people (including myself) thought that it was impossible. They deserve the best destiny they wish for, because despite all the negative criticism that started even before the qualyfying phase in CONMEBOL, they triumphed qualyfying second eek there, and now they gave us the joy we are all feeling and celebrating, this group of Chileans brilliantly led by our Argentine brother, Marcelo Bielsa, has won my heart and soul, if it depended only on me, they already won the WC cool, but since this is what only I feel in my soul and reality says that they have only played one game, so let them continue to fulfill their destiny, lets wish for them and to all of us, the best for the next coming games........

Saludos, tengo 46 años de edad recién cumplidos, nací en 1964, es decir después del Mundial de Chile en 1962, por lo tanto hasta el día del triunfazo sobre Honduras, no sabía lo que era poder decir que como Chileno, ganamos un partido en la Copa Mundial. Es mí primera celebración desde que estoy vivo. El haberlo compartido con mí hijo de 10 años de edad, para quien también es su primera vez, realza la satisfacción. Se siente fabuloso, .

Nos basta un empate para ganar el grupo y evitar a Brasil.
Si Chile pierde por 1 gol con España, hay que esperar que Suiza no le meta más de 2 a Honduras.
Si Chile pierde por 2 goles o más con España, hay que esperar que Suiza no le meta más de 3 a Honduras.

 

Solo para poner paños frios y tratar de "obviar" tanta discusión negativa en torno al partido con Esp., solo basta que decir que Chile es el único de los equipos en este grupo que depende de si mismo.

 

depende de uds mismos y solo de uds mismos. ahora sera bueno que mantengan ese nivel y que a bielsa no le regresen los fantasmas del 2002. seria algo tragico, el colmo. igual creo que chile sigue debiendo y mucho. estan bien fisicamente, en el gol de gonzalez se ve como valdivia pone un buen pase y paredes corre, le gana a benaglio, se acomoda y centra. eso es virtud del jugador y resultado de la gran preparacion fisica que produjo el trabajo intenso de bielsa. bielsa ha buscado armar un buen equipo no solo a base de disciplina, compromiso y hasta un cambio de mentalidad creo yo, sino en base a explotar condiciones que tal vez el jugador tenia, pero que o no se atrevia o que costaban trabajo en sacarlas a relucir.

bielsa a hecho un buen trabajo, pero croe que a chile le falta algo mas. quisiera ver un chile como el que jugo en lima, asuncion, carcas, la paz, montevideo por ejemplo. chile esta haciendo un buen mundial, pero tienen que tener mas contundencia. es una pena que todavia no se pueda ver un suazo recuperado porque ahi otra seria la cosa. los goles han sido de volantes que juegan muy arriba, pero imaginense si ahi andaba un mancilla o suazo, minimo chile tendria +3 en diferencia de goles.

 

Con Valdivia y Medel en el mediocampo creo que podemos mejorar.
Y por izquierda tenemos 3 opciones de ataque más que interesantes (Orellana, González y Beausejour).

Mi oncena ideal:

Bravo;
Ponce,
Contreras, Jara;
Isla, Medel, Vidal,
Valdivia;
Sánchez, Suazo(Paredes), Orellana(González/Beausejour).

O si no:

Bravo;
Ponce,
Medel(vs Villa), Jara(Contreras);
Isla, Vidal, Beausejour,
Valdivia;
Sánchez, Suazo(Paredes), Orellana(González).

Me imagino que Del Bosque jugará con Villa por izquierda, y con un 9 neto (Llorente o Torres; ojalá juegue Torres, que está pésimo en la definición).

Pero este es un partido que me pone nervioso, no por el nivel de España, sino por nuestras deficiencias en la puntada final.

Gracias amigo efernandez9, ojalá que vengan la victoria contra España y ahora me puse ambicioso, contra Portugal también en la siguiente ronda. Que seamos nosotros los encargados de despachar a los de la península ibérica de este Mundial.

si le ganamos o empatamos contra Espana, y Brasil termina primero, nos toca Portugal.

 

Y la única posibilidad de enfrentar a Brazil este mundial, sería en la final........

tienes toda la razon. nos falta aun en terminos ofensivos, aunque la verdad que la defensa esta impecable.

es interesante porque entre Mark y Jean jugaron casi 100% de los partidos eliminatorios y marcaron apenas 1 gol entre ambos...y ahora nos an dado dos victorias.

lo del cambio fisico es apreciable por television...Sanches siempre fue muscoloso, pero esta tremendamente cortado. todos parecen haber tenido un preparador fisico especial o algo porque estan en sus mejores momentos fisicamente
