Yeah, I did a double take when I saw Poland's latest squad. I thought someone was just trolling the page.
Argentina's all time record against Mexico is 16 wins, 14 draws and 5 losses. Argentina have won the last 3 games by a combined score of 8-0. Mexico's last win, and only competitive win, was in 2004, and before that a friendly in 1990. source: https://www.11v11.com/teams/argentina/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Mexico/
I know, that is impressive. That is one reason they get to second round, they pick up points against the seed that other teams to do not. I thought Germany might be a bridge too far because they are a horrible match-up for Mexico, but Mexico pulled it off. So we have Mexico's amazing record in the first round record vs their horrible record against Argentina. This match is screaming for a draw. It may look a lot like the Mexico-Brazil match in 2014. I want to see both advance and then take out what I assume will be France and Denmark.
If you don't know what an upset is, sorry for you. Our hearts don't dictate whether or not it's an upset
F@#$ a draw with all due respect. Argentina we're coming to get you little B!@#$...........Vamos Mexico con todo!!!!!
Tata just doesn't to show his hand right away. Claisdic mistake all Mexican NT coaches make. Peak right before the WC.
LMAO @ Poland for getting slaughtered 6-1 by Belgium today What makes it even more funny is that this came a few days after one of the Polish scouts/coaches called Mexico a bad team
To be fair Belgium is capable of doing that to any other team. So the only thing I’m getting out of that game is that I feel bad (not) for the Canadians
Naah, we can't do that to any team with a midfield that consistently presses the ball. So we wouldn't do that to Spain, France, Germany, England, Netherlands, Portugal, ... to name just a few from Europe alone. In many ways, Poland was the perfect rebound opponent for us.
