How about a whole thread dedicated to grudges against the MISL & anyone associtaed with the league?
Topics for complaining could include, but not be limited to....

    Wave Gate
    Linsdey Gate
    Steamers/Blast Championship Mini Game Gate
    Teams on Hiatus
    Website inefficiency

Any to add? Past or present?

I still believe the Steamers would have defeated the Blast if the championship format was either best of 5 or best of 7; & not that stupid "Golden Goal." But then again how embarassing would it have been if after winning the title they still would have went on hiatus?

Personally, I am not a fan of the multi-point scoring system.

HAHAHAHA Ok bbwavefan, weren't you a mod over there? Come on, that was where all the little kids posted. Hell one team's trainer's daughter (I'll leave the name out) was BANNED BY THE TEAM from posting there because she was so outrageous that the team was actually getting complaints about her from around the league. Haven't heard from her since, but her dad still is in the league so at least he didn't get canned because of her posting.

The playoffs should be best of 3/5/7, I think everybody agrees on that.

As for me, create a separate thread, I will enjoy the amusing remarks about me. I have nothing to hide. Hell you just found me on facebook, make sure you get me on myspace as well. Like I said, I don't hide from my critics, only the MISL does. The league continues to bury itself with bizzare decisions that seem to be anti-fan friendly. I'll continue to support the team that I currently do, while exposing the things on the team and the league that need to be exposed. If the NFL was run like the MISL, they would have been shutdown years ago. But yet, somehow, someway, Steve Ryan still has a job. Remember that.

I think best of three works best. I mean I sorta hate to have just one game for the championship but that is what you have to do for it to be on TV i guess. Otherwise I could see the first round be a play in round sorta and you play one game. then the semis and finals are best of 3.

And I think this would be the best way. #1 v lowest seed;example. Lowest seed hosts game on a Wed or Thur Night. Then game 2 happens @ #1 seed Friday or Saturday and then if needed game 3 happens Saturday or Sunday. So the higher see has two home games in a row if needed.

I know the economics don't work, but in my opinion if the MISL moved to a best of three it should be 1-1-1 and not 1-2. I don't like the 1-2 format, just like I don't like the 2-3-2 format many leagues have moved to (from the 2-2-1-1-1). But really, as long as we have the two games series in indoor, PLEASE move from the abortion that the MISL calls the golden goal to a simple 15 minute mini-game. The ONLY drawback to this switch would be the impact on possible TV length, but heck the golden goal already messes w/ that.

There were some. That is true. But we lost a lot of good posters as well when it closed and there was much more activity. Over here there's like 10 people that post and most of the posts have nothing to do with the actual sport.

The regular season was proven last year to be useless as the Storm was one game away from finishing first but still got the second seed all to find out they were not going to get home field advantage.
Losing on a golden goal was bad enough but it was made even worse knowing that golden goal period should have been in Chicago.
Home field has not proven to be an advantage in any big games lately.
Last year Detroit had a chance to clinch the #1 seed at home and the Storm beat them badly.
Storm had a chance to clinch the #1 seed at home and the Wave beat them badly.
Ignition could have won the championship at home and did not do it.

St. Louis lost the title at home in their final season.

This isn't a grudge, but "Lucy has som splain' to do."

shelts, you told us about Orlando moving to Kissimmee and Penfield ditching the MISL, but neither has come to fruition.

And apparently, Herb Silva quit and the MISL was able to take him off the site, but Penfield is still there.

Once again, explain to me how being down 1-0 before going home and facing elimination is "home-field advantage". That is just terrible logic. You're using terrible logic to try to place blame elsewhere for the Storm not being able to finish.

My logic is just fine thank you,the Storm was 3-0 last year in Philly in the regular season and Philly would have been facing the pressure of winning game one at home or most likely lose the series.
