I said it before the tournament but England generally struggles against CONCACAF teams.
2018 was more of the exception to the rule and Panama was just happy to be there.
This time around Panama is trying hard to get something.

 

I dont see either Ghana or Croatia making it past the round of 32.

 

Unless Croatia gets a team that are clearly superior to them on paper, Croatia will get a 1-1 draw and win on penalties in the knockouts until they face a team that’s too talented and too much for them.

 

True. But I was still expecting Carlos Q's Ghana to draw Croatia.

 

They lulled Ghana into a trap and they fell for it. Quiroz ball just let's the other team come at them. Croatia said we ain't playing that game you come at us. So Ghana did, but their progressive ball movement against a block is very poor, so Croatia just waited for the eventual turnover and made them pay.

 

Ghana already looking much better after subs.

 

Yes, very different game to the one in Russia.
