The coach didn’t even say it was because of resting his players, it was protecting them from
the hit to their mentality if they fielded a full strength team and lost. What a pathetic loser.

 

The issue for me with Norway changing practically their entire team for this game is basically admitted defeat before the game even starts. Coming into this World Cup Tournament what were the chances of Norway winning the entire World Cup, slim to none. Why then in a game with probably what is the best team they probably have had in a very long time go out onto the pitch and give 110% against France, a team who is considered one of the top contenders to win the entire event and see how they shape up against them. What Norway did in my opinion was stick there heads in the sand and hide and showed me they were afraid to play France with their best players. Now they will go into the Round of 32 against an Ivory Coast team which is no slouch of a team and could end up going home anyway. It just didn't make much sense to me at all.
