  1. I'm not stealing anything, the spotlight is on that brave Cabo Verde TEAM as a whole and a message to the coward coach Koeman of the Orange Squad...
If you have to leave the Worldcup, do it fighting with all of your worth, not by playing defensive cowards tactics.
The Cabo Verde team and their coach sent a clear message and one that resonates around the world, we're not push overs, we're fighters.

Yeah I dont think anyone team deserves more credit than Cape Verde. Easily the best team according to expectations/talent.

My Ranking model had them as the most underrated team in the world cup and my model was proven correct.

I knew they would do OK and not be easy for anyone to beat, but they far surpassed my expectations. They played Argentina, Spain, Uruguay, and nobody beat them in 90 minutes. I believe they are the only nation to be undefeated at the World Cup in 90 minutes. What a record.

Cape Verde is the team that got Nigerias coach fired back in the 2022 WCQ. We barely held on at home for a draw to move on to the final playoff. They missed a last minute sitter that would have eliminated us. This firing destabilized our team leading to missing out on 2 straight world cups.

We looked down on Cape Verde back then. Today other than Morocco, no other African team can hold their heads as high.

It's not only a message to the Dutch, its a message to all the other "bigger African teams" who showed a tiny fraction of the strength, belief, concentration and heart that Cape Verde showed. They should all be ashamed.

Corruption in CAF federations man. That's what put SEN on life support, even before WC kicked off.

Why did SEN fed fire their head chef after a successful AFCON championship? SEN players were forced to order takeout food during this WC. I am surprised they got as far as they did.

    Cool story bro.

You don't see @vancity eagle reclaiming Nigerian heritage any time Balogun scored in this WC.

If you need to be petty against NED, then the Group F thread has plenty of space for that. You did not even bother to write there while NED played its group matches.

  6. Cool story bro.
Balogun only relation with Nigeria are his parents. He's only born in the USA, but raised in England, developed in England and played in England. Soccerwise he has no/little heritage with Nigeria.

Sidney Cabral was born in Rotterdam, is Dutch, developed in the Netherlands and played in the Netherlands.
I put his goal quality wise on the same level as other Dutch players screamers like the epic van Bronckhorst rocket, the Bergkamp goal, the van Persie flying Dutchman header.
    That's respect, bro.

Do you really think there's no discussion about the Koeman way in the Dutch forum?
