38' 0-1 Le Sommer receives facing away at 27m center, spins ccw but can't shoot on the bounce -- flicks square right. Bussaglia(?) steps into it, one-touch long drive drops toward right 90, Nayler reaches and slaps -- ball bounces off right 90, down to 6-top right. Le Sommer chases it down first, shoots one-touch right instep low under Nayler, into 1/3 left back. Nice sub :whistling:

45+2' (of +3) 0-1 Thomis spins cw to 2m mid-right, ground cross through box. Defender clears it just before it reaches left post -- to 9m center, Le Sommer reflex-blocks but it rebounds high over bar.

    HT 0-1.

54' 0-1 Wilkinson crosses from 14m wide right to 7m center, Bouhaddi dives upon it as Hearn(?) hops over her.

60' 0-1 New Zealand subs in (1 of 3) #10 Sarah Gregorius for #12 Betsy Hassett.

63' 0-2 Thomis turns down wide right to 5m, cross to 6m center. Cadamuro lunges past lax marking, bounces a header down into back left, no chance for Nayler.

66' 0-2 France subs in (2 of 3) #10 Camille Abily for #15 Élise Bussaglia.
71' 0-2 New Zealand subs in (2 of 3) #13 Rosie White for #17 Hannah Wilkinson.
72' 0-2 France subs in (3 of 3) #17 Kheira Hamraoui for #6 Amandine Henry.

78' 0-2 New Zealand subs in (3 of 3) #8 Jasmine Pereira for #14 Katie Bowen.

82' 0-2 Karchaoui clears ball away, Pereira arrives late and shoulder-strikes her down. Foul, yellow card on Pereira.

85' 0-2 Pereira escapes up right touch to 25m, rolls a perfect inward diagonal pass to 8m 8-right. Hearn turns past the backline, Bouhaddi sprints out to 6-top right -- Hearn shoots one-touch toward left 90, Bouhaddi deflects it higher and over.

90+1' (of +3') 0-2 Yellow card on Riley. That's her 2nd, she misses the QF

90+1' (of +3') 0-3 Cadamuro pk, right instep softly just inside left post low (Nayler dove wrong).

    FT 0-3.

    Group G:
    7+3 (+5-2) G1.USA
    6+6 (+7-1) G2.France
    3-4 (+1-5) New Zealand
    1-5 (+2-7) Colombia

G3.New Zealand trails E2.China 3-1 and E3.Sweden 3-3, who play each other next. Both of them have scored 2 goals, so they win the goals-scored tiebreaker; hence New Zealand needs the loser to have GD -5.

    - China wins by 2+: Sweden is eliminated
    - Sweden wins by 4+: China is eliminated
    - else New Zealand is eliminated

If South Africa (0-3) beats Brasil, they might steal 3rd and eliminate New Zealand.
