Hard day for Curacao. Quality difference was too much, but credit to them, they came to play and not bunker. It was a real match in the first half.

I will see what Germany do with Ecuador and CIV before getting carried away.

I’m getting a lot of Peru 0-1 Denmark in 2018 World Cup VIBES from this Ivory Coast vs Ecuador game! Anyone feel the same way?

 

Ecuador started better but CIV getting into the match.

 

Very sloppy from CIV at the back. They can't be casual because Ecuador presses hard.

 

Ecuador just play acting. Disgraceful.

 

CIV lucky to be even at the half. Ecuador running harder, wonder if they will tire in 2nd half. Fae needs to earn his stripes as a coach and restructure the team.

 

Good game by Ecuador, they are a very tough team and they made it very tough for CIV.

Amad is such a clutch player. 2 winning goals against France and Ecuador.

 

I knew I was getting Peru vs Denmark 2018 vibes!

 

CIV ended Ecuadors 19 game unbeaten streak in basically an away match.

 

Ecuador was a bit unfortunate they did not score and hit the bar a few times in the first half.

Ivory Coast had a nice goal to win it late though.

They do remind me of Senegal 2002 vancity eagle.
