Difficult to say such a thing. Maybe it would be an idea for everyone to post their NT's favorite line-up and combine that. I need those of Angola especially.

    Iran
    Goalkeeper: Mirzapour
    RB: Hossein Kaebi
    LB: Sattar Zareh
    CD: Rahman Rezaei
    CD: Yahya Golmohammadi
    DM-C: Javad Nekounam
    MR: Mehdi Mahdavikia
    ML: Zandi / Jabbari
    MC/AMC: Ali Karimi
FC: Ali Daei / Arash Borhani
    FC: Vahid Hashemian

this wont work every1 will just be biased and mention their whole nationalteam squad as their dream team :)

but if not being biased i will choose marquez in the deffence!
(im a big time barca fan so still im biased choosing marquez but what the heck)

I donno all the teams well enough, but i can do half of a team with what i know.

    GK: Oswaldo Sanchez

    DF:
    Carvalho
    Marquez
(In my opinion, toss up between Andrade and Salcido, i know you portuguese will disagree)

    MF:
    Figo
    Karimi
    Deco

    FW:
    Fonseca
    Pauleta

it's not a complete squad but i think those players should be in a dream team for group D

Individual player to player, I'd think Portugal would have a lot of players in the dream-team, followed by Mexico and Angola.

Not being biased, but just by the pure aspect of things, that's the way it'd be. In the end, the dream team is just that, a dream. Nothing significant to who will eventually make it through.

Pedro Mantorras is one of Angola's Forwards...was a starter at Benfica before injuries caused him to missed alot of time over the last 2 years. Still very young and is now coming off the bench for Benfica who are still alive in the CL.

He is a very strong and physical player with good movement and quickness to the ball, a lethal shot...

Anyways I also try to make my "Dream Team"

    ----------------------- Oswaldo Sanchez -----------------------------
    --------------- Carvalho ------- Rezaei ----- Marquez -----------------
    ------------------------- Petit / Nekounam ---------------------------
    ---- Mahdavikia -------------------------------------------- Figo -----
    ---------------------- Karimi ----------- Deco ------------------------
    ----- Fonseca ------------ Pedro Mantorras ---------- C. Ronaldo -----

And I added Pedro Mantorras because I think there must be at least one player of Angola in the Dream Team

Especially since you can't even spell Angolan right...

arrg my internet failed now I have 2 do this twice

    Mexico: marquez and Sanchez
    Iran: Mahdavakia, Karimi, Hashemian, Rezaei
Portugal: Andrade, Deco iffy, C Ronaldo, Pauleta, and Nuno Gomes.... I miss Figo... you guys need 2 get him back.

I only watch the Euro leagues and Little Bit of IPL, However Kabeii looks to be a good bet I'd like him 2 be a sub on the dream team. Aston Villa needs to buy him their defence sucks. Hed do great their hes physical and fast. For a short guy he can jump 2.

A dream team made only by names and reputation:

    GK: Oswaldo Sanchez
    D: R.Carvalho, J. Andrade, Marquez, Salcido
M: Karimi, Figo, Deco, C. Ronaldo
    FW: Fonseca, Pauleta

A dream team made by names and reputation but the difference lies in each position of the field in a 4-4-2 system:

    GK: Oswaldo Sanchez
    LB: Caneira
CB: R. Carvalho and J. Andrade
    RB: P. Ferreira
    DM: Maniche
    WGs: C. Ronaldo and Figo
    OM: Deco
    FWs: Fonseca and Pauleta

hmm...sorry guys...I really tried not to include the portuguese on this one.

I'm going to guess between 1 and 5. I'm also going to guess that they come from people who's opinions don't really matter.

But congratulations on getting repped for a post. I've never seen that happen before, you must be one of a kind.

What I said was completely true. I actually left out Iran, yet for some reason you didn't bicker over that.

The truth is, if you're going to make a dream-team ahead of the World Cup, you are obligated to have a majority of those players come from Portugal and Mexico, with Iran and Angola having a very small percentage, if any. It's not because I'm Portuguese, it's because it's reality.

As for Angolan NT players that I know of: there's Jojo(might've retired by now), Mantorras, Akwa, Edson, Mendonca, Figueiredo, Joao Ricardo, and Maurito. I've heard of Flavio (playing for Al Ahly) but haven't gotten to see him play. And there's probably other Angolan players that I can't think of right now, or just I've seen them play but don't know they're Angolan.

So, yes, I would say I do know "1 or 2" Angolan players, and from those there isn't anyone who I consider to be exceptional, though Mantorras and Mendonca are OK, and Jojo used to be pretty good with Espinho.
