    I'll be watching Italy-Brazil live on Italian TV, for a change, so probably less buzzing around from me here.

    What do you think, guys? Can possibly Brazil beat Italy and take away the first place from them? Should Italy end at 6 points, what's the chance that Australia can outscore them by bashing at Jamaica?

    Why do you want Thailand to advance? It's a bad team.

    Group C:
    6+5 (+7-2) C1.Italy (vs. A3.Nigeria or B3.China -- or F3?)
    6+3 (+8-5) C2.Australia (vs. A2.Norway)
    6+3 (+6-3) C3.Brasil (vs. A1.France or B1.Germany)
    0-11 (+1-12) Jamaica

    Kerr's solo high press to poach her 4th goal tied Brasil on GD, which moved Australia into 2nd on goals scored :notworthy:

    The repechage for four best 3rds:
    6+3 (+6-3) C3.Brasil
    4=0 (+1-1) B3.China PR
    3-2 (+2-4) A3.Nigeria
    ~~~~~~~~
    D3 will have 4, 3, 2, or 1 pt
    E3 will have 3 or 1 pt
    F3 will have 3 or 1 pt
    Looks like France v Brazil in the round of 16 - with winner to play USA most likely.
    I'll certainly be rooting for Brazil in that scenario, well, up until they face the USA. ;)
    Not if the other 2 3rd place finishers come from Group A and D. If that happens, Brazil would play Germany.
    I think that's backwards? Everything I've seen says that C3 plays A1 (which B3 already through too) except when the 3rd-placers are B/C/E/F (which gives C3vB1), not A/B/C/D.
    Norway vs. Australia - can be a very interesting match-up. The only time I will NOT root for Sam Kerr (CRS) is versus Norway and USA. :thumbsup:
    Yeah, you're right, I read it wrong. So if Argentina wins today, that would lock in France-Brazil.
