Canada's chances of winning the group and staying in Vancouver beyond next week just got a lot tougher in the last 15 minutes.

But first things first....

^ It keeps getting worse by the minute.

OTOH, Bosnia's GD took such a hit that they might have kissed goodbye to any hopes of finishing 2nd.

 

I was not expecting a brace from Johan Manzambi especially coming off the bench

 

Canada now needs to stay disciplined and not overattack Qatar otherwise Qatar can punish on the counter.

I had Bosnia at 2nd but now that Bosnia got a red card and that made Switzerland scoreline inflated, it is most likely that Canada will finish 2nd in the group, unless Canada messes it up against Qatar and draws.

But Canada is most likely going to lose against Switzerland.

 

2-0. No way Qatar is coming back now. Qatar are playing silly, they are acting like Canada is France. They thought just because they got lucky against Switzerland this tactic will work every time. They should have played instead of parking the bus and trying to waste time from the onset against Canada.

 

That was a dive.

 

Qatar red card. I think Qatar will continue to defend to not make it a blow up. They have no chance now. They will want keep it at 2-0 or 3-0 at most and then try to get a win against Bosnia.

 

I did not see it well, but I think regardless the red was a bit harsh. Having said that, I am not complaining. Qatar is not exactly my fave team. And it is their own fault for starting the game the way they did.

 

Qatar would be well beaten anyways but my suspicions I think are comming true. FIFA will make sure the hosts advance as far as possible, and protect players like Messi and Hakimi. And Ronaldo for that matter who should have been suspended for the opening matches.

I would hate to play against the US with Infantino so far up Trumps ass.

 

Canada was gonna qualify even without such calls. They have an easy group, and Bosnia already imploded at the end against Switzerland, gifting Canada 2nd.

 

Helping them to stay in Vancouver.

 

The stadiums will fill up regardless who is playing.
