    2-1 Final score.
    Korea deserves the three points.

    Czechia deserves nothing.

    Goodnight.

I would have wanted a 2-2 but it is what it is. Kudos to both teams.

South Korea deserved it overall. Game picked up in the second half.

I don't think Czechia are very good but they still be able to beat South Africa and advance.

Our superior stamina and subs carried the win. Optimal start, and didn't regret staying up to watch this.

Congratulations to S. Korea. They fully deserved it overall, having dominated chances and the run of play for most of the match. But once Czechia took the lead against the run of play on a throw-in, and after S. Korea equalized, the match saw good chances on both ends with S. Korea dodging some bullets after they took the lead.

I think they will do enough against South Africa to make it through unless a completely different South Africa shows up next week but I doubt it

from what i saw today all 3 teams will trash SA. group of life.

Second match was way better especially the second half, a cracker worthy of World Cup. Got my time's worth for sure. Korea very skilled and proficient with the ball but totally out muscled and outworked by the physical Czechs. Czechia super sloppy and no killer instinct at the end, just seemed gassed. I think all three teams are pretty decent mid-tier teams with a shot past R32.

For the most part. Other than switching off on a throw-in and nervous moments by their Keeper.

Korea deserved it. I'm old enough to remember when Asian soccer was laughed at; Korea beat Germany in 2018 and Japan beat Spain and Germany in 2022, so no one should be laughing now.

Solid comeback win. Nice passing and teamwork. The Czechs were basically doing what we call "chuveirinho" in Brazil - long crosses into the box hoping someone heads it into the net. And it worked once, but it wasn't enough.

Mexico will most probably defeat this Czechia team. Korea will on the other hand be the favorites against South Africa.

No one was laughing when South Korea make the Semis in 2002, beating Italy and Spain in the process in the KOs and losing 1-0 to Germany (though with VAR it likely would have been a USA v Korea semi).

I’ve seen so much bias here in the posts. Seriously, the Czech Republic played well for their level of talent.

Truthfully, the Koreans have more talent all around, but the Czechs were very organized, defended well, and had great tactical execution. Especially in much of the first half, the Czechs were first to more balls, knew exactly where to be when, and stayed very organized.

In the second half, the Koreans did play a bit better as a team and the pace and switch of plays stretched the Czech Republic a bit too much, but that was mostly due to Czech Republic having a ceiling of talent and pace all around the team.

I think I could argue that the Czechs deserved a draw for how well they played. Talent wise on paper they were inferior, but they did their best. Shame the offside goal was ruled out. It was definitely the right call, but I do think Czech Republic deserved it.

This was a lot closer than you all are making it out to be and I truly believe the Czech Republic deserves some respect and they did their best. Got a bit unlucky, especially with the second South Korea goal; despite the Koreans probably being the slightly better team on average.

My only real criticism was the Czech coach settled a bit too son when he subbed off some players, but not sure how much of a difference it would’ve made.

Both Korea and Czequia looked really gassed at the end, like literally everyone had their mouth open at the end.

While Korea won’t face Mexico at the Azteca, Czequia will, and I don’t think they can handle that altitude for 90 minutes and thus I favor Mexico in that match

Korea looked way better in the second half, in neutral conditions I'd favor them over Mexico but given that the latters are locals, I favor a tie / Mexico win

if Mexico beat South Korea, they will likely rest a lot of players against Czechia.
