They crapped the bed at Azteca and everyone overreacted. Hardly the first team to have that happen. Nor will they be tge last.

ufff. Canada is really going to regret not winning their group. South Africa is the type of team that gives Canada fits.

Do you see them bunkering and hitting them in the counter?

I understand and I’m not saying they’re amazing by any means; but losing to South Africa? Come on.

Yes Brazil and Ivory Coast smashed them but those are two very good teams especially the former. And Ivory Coast is a growing team that is very solid and maybe Top 16-17 in the world.

The South Korea I saw against Czech Republic and Mexico were considerably better than what I saw yesterday.

Teams can be on or off from game to game, makes a huge difference when the margins between teams arent that much.

There was never a major difference in quality between Korea and South Africa. Only people who haven't watched much international football would have thought such.

Really hoping the Bafana Bafana use this WC as a springboard to send some of their talents abroad, specially to better leagues than the MLS

Yea, I think it will be a tough match up. South Africa is capable of absorbing pressure and countering. However, their style of play is possession based football with quick transition I don't believe Canada has the defense to hold them. It will be a very fast open match.

Canada is a better team than South Africa. They should have the slight edge but it won't be easy.

South Africa has gotten results against the big teams in Africa and must be confident after yesterday so they won't be in awe. They will give a good match.

South Korea really disappointed in this group. They came into the final game looking like they were ready to settle with a draw against South Africa and they weren't haven't any of that. South Africa played there best contest of the group stage and pulled out the one goal they needed to put them into the knockout round and move South Korea into limbo, What I also didn't understand is how South Korea managed Son throughout the entire group stage matches.

Do you or anyone else know who is the white guy on their bench? Considering South Africa is 8% white I thought you'd have 1 or 2 white players you know?

South Africa have been quite impressive since their opening loss to Mexico.
