For those stuck at work and for those on Seaport Drive at 6AM... Please use this thread to discuss the ground breaking, post links to video or news stories and anything else related to the biggest day we've had since the announcement in February. Be sure to check the SOB Flickr & Twitter pages throughout the day as we'll be working to give you a feel of the atmosphere, starting at sunrise and ending at the Dark Horse in the evening!
still debating if I should go down.... I feel like the sleeping in temptation will get the best of me.
Locate, pump up, find a bag to carry it in, get people together to play, set up an aare top play, find it when the day is over... Are you just deflecting 'cuz you're scared to play me, Marky-Mark and the funky bunch?
Fox29 just did a teaser on the groundbreaking...story should be up after the break... can be streamed from myfoxphilly.com
Yeah, Bryan you did a great job of representing the group/team. They had nothing but nice words to say about the group and soccer fans in general after your interview. .... time for class, see you guys at 2:30
SoB's looked very organized and professional this morning. See you all in a little while. ZOLO is coming!!!
i checked all the local stations, nothing but Soap Operas, Martha Stewert, Jerry Springer, Court Room TV and infomercials.
im at work so i cant watch but im starving for some news, so help kick that hunger and post any news they report please, THANKS!
Hey, im not trying to troll here..... Some of you guys might know I have a blog that shows stadium construction and am a stadium construction freak.... can anyone tell me where I can find pictures or videos of the ground breaking.... I cant wait to see this stadium get built as a MLS fan....
Another teaser from NBC 10.... filled with bad puns too.... apparently "we'll get a kick" out of this story.
Yeah, I'm very happy with the news. The president said he is fully committed to making sure our stadium is "world-class" when it comes to electronics.
i'd venture a guess and say you'll most likely have to wait until tomorrow when everyone's nursing their collective hangover. i thought the flickr and twitter links in the initial post were implying a PbP of the groundbreaking, but it's gotta be difficult to drink, sing, eat, AND provide updates simultaneously ... and at the same time, too. so, check this thread tomorrow and i would think we would all be provided with groundbreaking visual goodness.
Nice and fairly lengthy story from NBC... hit all the keypoints, obligitory Bryan interview seemed to go well... showed the old render of the stadium though, ah well..
