0=0 at half. Not a bad crowd, all 100 level filled and 200 level behind north goal. A lot of good chances in first half.Polish squad has a player taller than jaqua.

    final 0-0
For a 0-0 game it was very entertaining.Blanco tried a cheeky PK and softly chipping one down the middle but it hit the cross bar. Several other shots hit the cross bar and one shot was cleared off the line by a defender.

Wish I was there, if only to see that embarassing moment.

Which was the better team or was it fairly even?

Both teams had a lot of good chances so I would have to say even.

  9. Interestingly, Groclin's web site reported 22000.

I thought the match was fairly interesting but at the same time both teams showed atrocious skills compensated with enormous hearts. Both teams wanted to win and the match was full of end to end action but the finishing on both sides could make many people laugh.

Was it worse than what we have seen from Jaqua, Mapp, Marsch, Armas, Ralph, Razov...and many others last year?

I am not surprised by Groclin's lack of finishing ... they just lost to some slovakian team a week earlier, but Club America?

Anyone worth having on Fire roster from Groclin? We need some Polish blood badly ;)

They had a rebroadcast of the match on WSNS (ch 44) this afternoon. Looked like a pretty good game (except for the lack of scoring). Neither side was finishing worth a darn, but there was a lot of good play on both sides.

And yes, it was nice to see Blanco muff his efforts.
