Maybe this has been asked before, I'm not sure.

I am under the impresssion the "third jersey" (the grey one) has not been officially released to the public for purchase, and has not been officially sanctioned by MLS as one of the kits the team can wear (I think the only time the Crew have worn the 3rd kit was during Open Cup Play)

Please let me know if I'm mistaken. Thanks :D

They have them on sale at the Stadium and I think that they also played in them against the German side, but am not real sure. I have no idea about them being use in MLS.

They wore them against Tigres in June, also not an MLS match, so maybe you're on to something there.

andy, i believe you're correct. Bill would probably know for sure, though... Soccer plus, the place in westerville supposedly has them for $95 or so, since they're not sanctioned by MLS.

I thought I saw them up there at Soccer Plus a while ago. Didn't get a look at the sticker price though, since I figured buying new cleats was enough to spend on clothing for one day.

Did you know that Larry is somewhere in the top five adidas soccer dealers nationally, and the top ten Nike dealers? Including Eurosport.

Anyway, he's got the Gray uni, but as I've pointed out before, it's the real McCoy, not a replica. It's got the two piece shirt (the underlayer is WHITE, BTW) and is really well made.

But it WILL set you back $95.

And no, I don't care for it either, but it's what they'll be wearing on October 24, and I'll take Busch, Perez & Co. holding the Cup over their heads while wearing those ugly shirts and be very happy indeed.

Anyone know if this "Larry" guy can get his hands on some of the on-field wear that the Crew sports? By on-field wear I mean the pullovers and sweatshirts by adidas that have the Crew badge and the Pepsi logo on them...

BigSoccer's store has a similar deal with the US jerseys.. 1 piece for around $60 or so, and the double-layered for 80-85 or something like that.

and mad props to larry... he knows how to sell crew/soccer gear.

He has an awful lot of that kind of stuff, but I can't say I've ever seen any of it with a Pepsi Logo, but I've never looked that close.

One thing I DID see was an absolutely KILLER waist length black adidas jacket, more like a winter than a spring, with a small Crew logo over the left breast. I'd kill for it. Well, I'd kill Andy for it at least.

Does this "Larry" have an e-mail address he can be reached at? Phone calls are 40c/minute from where I'm at here...

    Thanks

Have they EVER sold the yellow game-quality shorts..non-replica? I know those would sell well..

I haven't been in the gift store yet this year, so maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.

As far as I know, the only yellow ones they sell are the ones with the replica tag. AFAIK, the only difference is the material used and the replica tag.
