Just tuned in. It is 1-0 Leeds, but I didn't catch who scored. Flashscore and Livescore don't say either. Anyone know?

Edit: Nevermind just heard it was Ephraim in the 8th minute

Yep Hogan Ephaim, on loan from QPR iirc.

Leeds legend Eddie Gray says Mike has been off to a great start and seems buoed by his strong performance in his subsititute role against Kettering Town.

All the Leeds broadcast links seem to have been taken off the air.

Ok that link is down now.

I'll keep everyone updated if anything happens. I have a link I unfortunately can't share.

Mike had a chance for a goal but Kandol was selfish and tried to put it on goal on his own.

Then towards the end of the half Mike had what was dimissed as a horrible pass - but the pass luckily found its way to the intended receipient thanks to poor defending.

Grella ruled offside, almost slipped through.

A few minutes later Grella is just missed on a through ball that would have had him clean through.

You get a vastly different impression of his play depending on the source. In the 20 or so minutes I was able to listen to the game, I heard Grella mentioned 7-8 times. Yet in the entire match tracker commentary thus far he is only mentioned once.

2-0, goal by Neil Kilkenny on a cross from the goal scorer Ephraim :D

With Sam Vokes on the bench and out of favour, I imagine we'll see him brought on, not sure if it will be for Kandol or Grella however.

Yep Grella comes off for Sam Vokes. "Doesn't look completely enthiused about coming off but thats understandable" according to the commentator

Kandol comes off for Gradel as well; Kandol also looks frustrated at coming off.

I was hoping his momentum from the last match would carry over into today.

Yea I was hoping for the same. I don't think he played poorly or anything, just not the best we've seen from Mike. We'll have to wait to hear from leedsunited (if he went to the match) to get his thoughts.

Been reading the Leeds forums from those that went and it seems that they felt that Mike looked very bright in the first half and most were as confused/frustrated as Mike as to why he was substituted. Of course theres plenty of posters who thinks he's shit, but that comes with being an American player I feel, Mike has got to be one of the most divisive players in the squad when it comes to fan opinion.

Forgot to mention in my first post that Mike was part of the buildup on the 1st goal.
