Besides the occasional champions leage match, is there a way to see Greek teams on TV in the USA? Is there some Greek TV network here that broadcasts? I'd love to get some games on tape if possible.

There is a Greek language show on a local UHF station here in the New York area. They do a half hour of Greek news nightly (I believe Monday thru Friday) and a big show on Sunday with music, dramatic plays, dancing, news, etc. Towards the end of their Sunday show, they show same-day highlights of the games from the A' Ethnikis (Greece's equivalent to Serie A). You can also get games and highlights on "Antenna", which is a Greek channel available (with other Greek channels) on Dish Network and DirectTV. Only on the former can you get the Greek stuff on an "a la carte" basis.

Also, Greek video stores here in New York have game and highlight videos. I own a Panathinaikos season in review video made a few years back. I'm not sure if they offer ethnic satellite programming where you live. But it is worth checking out.

I have a friend that has DirectTV. There's a pretty sizeable Greek population here for the size of the city, but I don't know if it's enough to be able to get the "ethnic" channels. I've seen TV Asia (India), some Lebanese channels and Chinese, Korean & Mexican TV. Don't know about Greek though. If it is really expensive I'm not interested. How much does it run in NY?

Unfortunately, I don't know any Greek, except for hymns. So, that site doesn't really help me much. I will depend on you guys for any more help in that direction.

It is a site made by Greek-Americans and most of the posts are in English but do ask whatever you need and I will try to post links for you when available man...
