Mandzukic and Petric scored this weekend. Rakitic went 90 for Sevilla and Kranjcar did not dress for Tottenham, could we see Rakitic starting on the left on Friday?
Yes, but in Bundesliga. I think that nobody scored in UEFA competitions. Rakitic played I saw that. I don't know who will be the referee against Greece. I trust in UEFA referees.
Robert Jarni confident Croatia can rise again (Video): http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro2012/news/newsid=1685486.html
Hoping to see this rise up now and in the future. Three years without proper approach is enough. After Euro 2012 new coach will take over Croatian NT. The question is who? I think that this is the worse working place.
Ref will be Howard Webb. He is English. To bad we couldn't get the German ref who did the first match against Israel. As for Rakitic I doubt he will start as that was his first full 90 game since his injury. Kranjcar will probaly start and maybe Perisic to.
Great website. Thanks. http://croatiansports.com.s110822.gridserver.com/?page_id=255&id=4 On this website you can see public opinion about this match between Greece and Croatia. Croatia-Greece Croatia qualifies for Euro 2012 (82.06%, 247 Votes) Draw (12.62%, 38 Votes) Croatia will be rooting for Georgia on Tuesday (5.32%, 16 Votes) Total Voters: 301
Thanks! Howard Webb hands out alot of cards and isn't afraid to call PK's, so i think this is good news for Croatia.
As I sad few weeks ago, we will play something like this: Pletikosa Corluka-Simunic-Lovren-Strinic Modirc-Vukojevic Mandzukic-Eduardo-Kranjcar Jelavic Subs that probably will come in: Rakitic, Perisic, maybe Badelj or Dujmovic, depending on result. I'm so annoyed with Bilic's comments: "No big deal if we loose" etc... No disrespect to Greece, but we are obviously better , and we must show thah on the pitch. I really don't like this aproach. Still don't get why Bilic is ignoring Petric, he scores regulary for HSV.
Bilic hasn't revealed yet his starting lineup, but he will surprise us like always. He also hit the table with his fist on press conference. Sounds like nervous to me. They are probably flying now in the land of strikes. Before many decades, there was a expression: "You are obliged like Greece", (cro. Duzan si k'o Grcka). This expression stayed until today. And now they really have problems.
Interesting website, all World Cup matches are included since 1930. http://soccerstats.com/leagueview.asp?league=fifa Croatia is on the 27 place here, not good. Points are the first thing that they watch not number of victories. Greece is on the 64 place. Croatian neighbors don't have the same reputation as Croatia.
Thanks a lot. The Bs.Aires stadium will be full: 65,000 people (60,000 argies vs 5,000 Chilean fans). Probably tonight will be a rainy night in Bs.Aires. Nice pic. Looking the photos of the Croatian fans in Athens, looks like the greek autumn is very hot, like summer (30 degrees celsius maybe). Now we have 12 degrees celsius in Santiago (mid-day), and totally cloudy, it's spring.
Which stadium in Buenos Aires, River Plate, Boca Juniors, or some other stadium? The weather is good, unusual for October. But today is cold in whole Europe. I think that these days of summer are last days. Europe: http://vrijeme.hr/aktpod_e.php?id=europa_e Croatia: http://meteo.hr/index_en.php Large contrast between north and south. Zagreb has 7*C, Split 24*C.
River Plate stadium ("Monumental Antonio Vespucio"), in the northeast part of the argentine capital, close to the river "de la Plata". Right now it's rainning over B.Aires. The field will be horrible.
