The greatest tv show ever is Mr Show with Bob and David, followed by The Simpsons and then Mystery Science Theater 3000. The rest are open to debate.

    "Greatest" is different than "favorite".

The greatest show was Homicide: Life on the Street.

Some shows not mentioned yet are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Stargate SG-1.

Any list that doesn't include Homicide: LIfe on the Street is in need of rethinking. The Prisoner has not been mentioned yet either. Has anyone said Northern Exposure? Twilight Zone?

Absolutely. I bought the six disc set at Virgin Megastore. I want the yearbook edition that was only available via the website. Stoopid thing costs almost a cool 100 bucks on ebay. NOOOOO!!!!!

One of the best shows ever created. Period.

They are my favorite shows because I think they are the greatest ;). Buffy was awesome but I'm not too sure about Angel. Joss Whedon is a good writer.

His show on CNBC is funny! I love his off the wall humor. But I don't think it's the greatest show ever though.
