by votes from totally alienated, mentally ill and crazy fans... it's harder for C. Ronaldo to win really . !
Maradona is ranking like this . by crazy Fans on the Internet... generally they are people who follow football for pure entertainment lovers of frills, dribbling skills, juggling skills, prime and highlights at You Tube as if it were an addiction like drugs But by experts for sure not not not not not not not not.... "! honestly, consistency for consistency Ruud Gullit was much more complete and was a better player overall than Diego Maradona . Diego was a player with flashes of genius but very irregular and inconsistent during the whole matches .. I saw ..more than 300 full matches of Diego Armando Maradona on the Internet except for the 1986 World Cup Diego Armando Maradona's physical condition was almost always very poor and precarious .
Absolute GOAT tier technique Matt Le Tissier scores a wonder goal against Wimbledon, 1994. pic.twitter.com/uPxKCsSY93— 90s Football (@90sfootball) February 1, 2023 In the last 15 years I have not seen even one player improvise like that on a FK
Do you think he was decently fit only during WC86? Based on footages I have seen, I would say he could maintain a very good physical condition until at least first or second year at Napoli. At Barca in particular he was very nimble and fast accelerating, and very hard to send to the ground.
That was not a direct/indirect freekick Eder was not a European player And a European player(John Sheridan )did in fact score an identical FK goal to Matt li tissier almost 10 years prior(so in the 1980s) John Sheridan scores for Leeds v Derby in 1986. Brilliant goal #lufc @LeedsUnited_MAD @LUFCHistory pic.twitter.com/uRyMDo3uON— @forgottengoals (@forgottengoals) January 22, 2020 And in 1970 Ernie Hunt scored this Your Eder was 13 years old at the time this goal was scored Obviously and I’d say quite unfortunately you are part of the brigade here that pushes the myth that South American players invented everything great in football That is neither the case or even remotely close to being the case.
You are right regarding the first and second objections. Not for the third: the player shooting the ball did not lift then ball on his own. You are right proably in your fourth remark as well but i don't feel offended/nerve stricken at all !! ;-)
For my personal level of demand, which is very very higher than others ... Diego Armando Maradona, from the entire matches I saw in the 1986 World Cup... he was physically, mentally and tactically in top shape, committed to the project of winning this title. After the 1986 World Cup... I only saw Diego doing pretty well in the Coppa Italia 1986/1987 season and the UEFA Cup 1988/1989 season. In some matches, he reminded me of his incredible performances in the 1986 World Cup.] that's it man ! apart from this Diego always very very irregular and inconsistent on the whole Matches like Jay Jay Okocha and Ronaldinho Gaucho a lot of juggling ...firulas com a Bola .. But .. like in the 1989 Copa America in Brazil he was humiliated, by Romário, Bebeto and Ruben Sosa including ..Ruben Sosa ;; had several better moments than Maradona .
yes, But it is before World Cup 1986 .. you mean .. Napoli 1 vs 0 JUventus " Platini " .... 1985-1986 .... season Serie A calcio ... But here again you are only basing yourself on one entire match??? there is...more++ a real average of the other 29 entire matches of this championship to be observed with care, real attention and seriousness . !
Honestly, I'm not part of any player's fan club,] I only ] talk more about the most underrated players in history... like Muller Gerd Muller Thuram Patrick Vieira Matthias Sammer Ruud Gullit Zito Professor Zagallo Platini Piantoni Kopa Jonquet Muller the français Didi Mauro Ramos Ramos Delgado Netzer Overath Antonio Careca Van Hanegem Ruben Sosa Pedro Rocha Keizer Piet Paul Breitner Hans-Georg Schwarzenbeck etc..etc,.etc.. there are several who are criminally underestimated by the sports media and fans who are alienated from dribbling skills nowadays . !
You are really into italian football of the 80s. To an extent that surprises me. Di Gennaro, Fanna were good players, solid, but no superstars. They used to be popular: those that are 50 yo or so (like me) remember them well, but otherwise they have been nearly forgotten even in Italy.
Antonio Di Gennaro, Fanna yes, I saw articles about them , recently ! well .. Pietro Fanna ... honestly impress me much more +++ than David Beckham Antonio Di Gennaro ...honestly impress me more +++ ..than .. Frank Lampard 0r Steven Gerrard .. ! Di Gennaro and Pietro Fanna But they failed to gain more prominence or importance in the Italian National Team side between 1983 and 1986 ! i saw this recently researching about them . ! but it is worth comparing them with these English players who left the English National Team side 60 years without titles ! Di Gennaro super Vision ambi-dextrous feet Long range Balls free-kick taking Genius touch PLays one-twos Decisions and `Pietro Fanna superb Crossing qualities Super Vision Corner-kick taking free-kick taking Expert in Set-Pieces ambi-dextrous feet dynamic versatil crossing always to Hans Peter Briegel in the Six Yards area Zone .. crossing always to Galderisi in the far post .. routines from Set-Pieces pretty amazing to watch this . !
Gennaro also dribbling skills ... he gives some sombreros during the whole Matches ..that i saw recently ! Genius !
Well if you are interested in researching deeper into early 80s serie A, I would suggest a handful of names that failed to secure a place in NT but nevertheless deservedly got to be supporters favourites : -Roberto Pruzzo of course (his exclusion from the list of players summoned to take part to WC82 caused a huge lot of controversy) and Agostino Di Bartolomei (AS Roma) -Evaristo Beccalossi, Graziano Bini (Inter Milan) -Bruno Giordano (Lazio, Napoli) and Giuseppe Bruscolotti (Napoli) -Massimo Palanca (Catanzaro) -Aldo Maldera (AC Milan)
Agostino Di Bartolomei (AS Roma) I saw alot playing with Falcão and Cerezo .. ! Shoots from Distance Long Range Balls Shoots with Power Leadership team-work
Fabio Cannavaro “Lilian Thuram and Alessandro Nesta are both great players, but Thuram is truly out of this world” How the evergreen Lilian Thuram rose from nothing to become the world’s best right-back
Lately, I’ve been completely obsessed with trying to find a player who actually got the better of Lilian Thuram. I’ve watched tons of footage, and honestly, I still haven’t found one. Take Thierry Henry, for example. He managed to dominate world-class full-backs like Cafu and Zanetti, but when it came to Thuram, it was a different story. Every time they faced off, Thuram completely neutralized him. Henry didn’t even try to take him on. He would pass backwards, avoid direct duels, or even switch flanks just to stay away from him. It’s crazy, in one of the videos I watched, you can literally see Henry switch sides after realizing he wasn’t going to get anything out of the left wing against Thuram. I’ve already looked at clips involving Zidane, Ronaldo, and Henry, and in every single one, Thuram comes out on top. It’s like every video turns into a defensive masterclass from him. Even on the attacking end, when you see Zidane or Baggio making a cross or long pass, Thuram is always the one on the receiving end or cleaning up the play. @carlito86 do you have any suggestions for other elite dribblers from the late '90s who might’ve actually given Thuram trouble? Because as of now, he’s looking untouchable
