GBFC Thunder 10 hrs · Road Trip! The Thunder travels to Herkimer, NY on Saturday to take on Division I Hartwick College and national community college powerhouse Herkimer CC. The pre-season campaign continues as the Thunder prepares for their second Keystone Conference title defense. The match at 1:30 pm at Wehrum Stadium on the Herkimer campus pits the men in red against the powerful Hawks led by former Thunder and SV player Mike Rood. The 2:45pm game will test the team as we attempt to continue to control the play against the Generals as in our first match two weeks ago at Le Moyne College that resulted in a 1-1 draw. GO THUNDER!
The Thunder 2016 season begins tomorrow with try outs beginning at NOON and running until 2pm! Several reminders: · Players need to arrive early to complete the check in procedure and register if not previously registered on the Website for 2016 · ALL players should register prior to arriving at the tryout. THIS INCLUDES ALL VETERAN PLAYERS THAT HAVE PLAYED/REGISTERED FOR THE THUNDER IN PREVIOUS YEARS. · Be ready to play · The second tryout is Sunday, January 3rd from Noon-2pm at the Dome · More tryouts will be scheduled with training beginning in March. GBFC Thunder 17 mins Tryouts tomorrow! The Thunder will conduct tryouts tomorrow, March 6th from 3:30-5:30pm at the Dome, 1500 Airport Road Binghamton, NY. All players must report early to check in and complete the registration process. The weather looks good so we will likely be outdoors so dress accordingly! This tryout is the first of three in March (March 20 & 26) to prepare for our first scrimmage against LeMoyne College on April 3rd. Check out the Calendar on our website for more information!
