I'm new to this board and saw a bunch of postings about where to get financial history/data on MLS. There's a sports business pub that sometimes runs special reports on MLS. Try here: http://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com.
Uh, actually I was trying to find some feedback on ratings on this board and saw multiple posts asking for additional business resources. When I had to write a paper last sememster on the business of soccer, that was the best resource I found. Sorry for trying to be helpful.
Being helpfull around here seem to get good people in trouble for some strange reason. Kevin metroadultsoccer.com
don't worry about it you have to have a subscription to the journal, but you can register for a free online trial... i think it lasts a month would you mind summarizing it for those that don't want to?
Do they "still" put "quotation marks" around nearly "every third" word in their "summaries" of news items from "other sources"? That was "annoying", to say the least, and "one reason" I didn't get past my "initial trial". JC124, don't take it personally. It's newbie hazing. It happens.
The "quote" marks paper was their sister pub, Sports Business Daily. The one I linked to is more hard news-reads like a magazine rather than summarizes other mags. But yeah, you still have to either do a free trial or buy a sub. Either way, if you have to get attendance stats or sponsor lists for a project, their archives have lots of good stuff.
