Reading put together a great month in March and moved well up the league table. They now have an outside chance at the final playoff spot albeit a slim chance. I must admit with the lack games shown in the US I haven't followed them too much but this young squad seems to be hitting their stride at the right time. It's great to see that they seem to have righted the ship and are heading for calmer waters. A relegation to League 1 would have killed this club but it seems to be averted at this point in time.
Young squad = low wage bill =cash available for acquisitions next year to make a run for the prem? And Reading still have loooooooooooooog shot for the playoffs!
well the fact that they're almost within a playoff spot is testament to both the player's self-belief and the 'interim' coach McDermott. i have to say he's got a lot to do with it, though i wonder how or why this team was so dismal under Rogers- wasn't he trying to play a 4-3-3? frankly i'm glad they're safe at this point, but with 5 games to go, maybe they'll make some noise, play spoiler, and get some good experience gelling further as a team.

Yes, we Yanks that support Championship clubs are quite literally blind since the only time we're fortunate enough to see our club play is when they've advanced into the later stages of the FA Cup and happen to tie one of the top 4 clubs in the Prem. So thank-you for trolling and bringing that to our attention.
