    Facts
Granada have won consecutive home games in La Liga this season – a sequence that did not occur in the whole of last season – with at least two goals scored in both of these games.

The last five meetings between these two sides in the top flight have resulted in Madrid wins, keeping clean sheets in four of those games, with an average of 3.4 goals scored per game.

Of the 10 games that Granada have played as the home side this season, they have only managed to keep a clean sheet in one of them (W3 D2 L5).

Madrid have gone three consecutive games without winning away from home (D2 L1) – a sequence that has not occured in the same season since 2008/09.

Real have not scored a single goal on two occasions this season when they have played away from home, the same number of times in the whole of last season. During 2013/14, this only happened on one occasion.

Karim Benzema has scored in his last five league games. If he scores against Granada, he will equal his best goalscoring run with Madrid in the league (he scored in six consecutive games in November 2014).

In fact, Granada is the side Benzema has scored the most number of La Liga goals against (8).

Aaargh, every time I see that 2-2 against Valencia something just snaps. And that Betis game... So so stupid!

Let's grab the full points tonight. A draw/loss would make our La Liga chances diminish completely.

If we're up by a few by half time I would like to see Modric out and Kovacic get some minutes.

Granada is doing a lot of pressing high up and giving us very little time on the ball. They have opened with great intensity in their play and giving us a pretty hard time. We need to be able to weather this opening storm and settle into a rhythm more to our liking. That last move that resulted in the cross by Carvajal is more like it. I hope we grow more into the game though.

Rafa doing good work at the back.. Kroos covered very well too.

This don't have the feeling of a rout by us.

Ronnie shoots just wide.... Could have pulled it back for the late arriving player in the box but i guess he wasn't in his line of sight at all.

Important game for James IMO BC he struggles a bit with physical play. Looking forward to seeing how he responds. Might have been a good game for Kovacic to start.....

James has been pretty anonymous so far. But in his defense, most of the team hasn't covered themselves in glory so far

Its early but we are not creating passing lanes with movement off the ball. Too much ball watching. I'm worried we'll end up turning it over somehow and they'll score.
