I've never seen a man who laughs at his own jokes as much as Bush.

No scandal. Just shows his mentality. I expect that sh!t out of my Bros, not my President.

Funny thing is that if this were Clinton doing something like this, dems would think its brilliant because "he really is that badass".

    Big ********ing deal.

Nope. I'd still think it's sophmoric and unbecoming of our CinC. They need to be held to a higher standard for a reason.

But Clinton would never, ever do that.

He'd be doing something else with that finger, though.

Adam Clymer, white courtesy phone. Adam Clymer, please pick up the white courtesy phone...

Seriously, this is a stupid thread, but it's still kind of funny...and it makes a great avatar. :D

The tape was from before he was president...

I just thought it was pretty funny to see any President act like a 3rd-grader, and was hoping to give everyone a break from the usual seriousness :D But I think I failed :D

I don't really care about the finger, but what does disturb is his sinister chuckle. It's like he modeled his laugh on that of a Bond villian. Creepy.

He wasn't CinC when he did it.

My goodness. I couldn't disagree more with any sane person on politics than I do with Barb. But, at least she's got a modicum of reason and sensibility.

    Thank you.

Well, Clinton didn't do this and who cares what the dems would've if Clinton had done it.

Typical Bush supporter crap. Make something up, and then act indignant about it. Go back to listening to Rush Limbaugh.

But I agree. This is no big deal. Invading Iraq under false pretenses, and putting the gov't into big, long term debt are big deals.

No sh!t. Do you think the man that flipped the bird to the camera is much different than the man that's running the country as we speak? I don't, which is my point. He acted like a juvenile then and he acts like a juvenile now. End of story.

    You misspelled "killer."

    Wasn't this tactic just addressed by Roel? Theresa didn't so it, and so you making up that dumb 'what if' doesn't change anything but it does give you something to snort about. Like Roel said;

"Go back to Rush". (Is Rush still on the radio? Or did all that doctor shopping and drug abuse reduce his status in the conservative talk radio world?)

We didn't need to see him flipping off Karen Hughes to know that, though.
