Has anyone else received their seat assignments?

    I got mine today.

    Section 12, Row 2, Seats 17-19.

    I'm just a little stoked.

I ordered seats in the Northend. I haven't heard yet. I didn't sign up in
advance though, just placed my order at the open house on the 9th.

What number were you if you don't mind my asking?

It sounds like they are doing seating assignments by sections. I hadn't heard back on mine and I was #21 (or something close) on the list. When I just emailed them, this is the reply I received:

I'm not sure what number I was, but I ordered online, on 10/9. Since I live in Idaho and have never been to the stadium, I drove down to SLC this weekend to specify exactly which seats I wanted (I had only requested a specific section and row). When I called Liz to specify the seats, she said that there were only a few people ahead of me in Section 22, and they were requesting seats in row 9 and in row 12. So if you requested seats in those rows, I bet you will get them.

We got our seats. We were like #150 or something like that and we ended up in the second row in the section we requested. So essentially we have 2nd row seats right at the 50 yard line on the East (sunny) side...pretty sweet. The anticipation builds!

We got our 1st choice seats as well... Section 12 - Row 8 - 17-22 (6 seats dead center)... Viva ReAL! While on the phone I asked her about the stadium plans and she said they were waiting until after the local elections (since they are working with politicians).

    Cheers!

The FO confirmed to me yesterday that they had about 1100 tickets sold and expected another push/surge at Christmas and as the season approaches. She said that since their new marketing guy has just joined the team and that once he has a pc/budget they'll begin a push...

Yes, we even got to choose it ourselves. We chose a little corner sliver behind a goal kick area, because the price was right and it was recommended to us by the front office (their second choice for us).

Excellent. This should ensure the TV cameras are pointed at you a lot.

We are on the same side as the cameras at Arrowhead so we don't get enough face time :(

Any of you going to MLS Cup this weekend? We have at least 50 going from KC on last count.

I am a NORTENO as well. I hope we get a real rowdy crew in the North end. I am off to the West slightly. I am so stoked. I also read on soccertimes that Ellinger is likely to bring in Brian Dunseth and Leighton O'Brien. Sounds like some good MLS vets.

Read that article again. It says that Ellinger is interested in Dunseth, but it doesn't say that about O'Brien. Leighton may be coming back to Seattle.

Hey no need to be bitter because we beat you to the MLS punch. Leighton is a good player. There are a lot of them in the A league.
