That's actually the heavier rain jacket. I believe we're going to have some in stock to sell in the merch department. I'll check tomorrow to verify that though.
I was wondering what happened to the rain jacket that was in last season's catalog but never showed up at the stadium shops....I would be up for getting one as well. Back on topic....WOOHOO! Way to go FO! Too bad they couldn't have the actual press conference here to intro both new strikers to our media. I just hope the visa paperwork goes through alot quicker for Claudio than it did for Ivan.
Yeah, it was one of those cases where we thought we were going to get that merchandise, and then when we ordered it adidas said they didn't make enough for us to actually have some for merchandising. They made enough for the team, and that's it (actually, we just got some overflow from the old team stuff that I believe will be on sale at the first game. Included was a number of the big, puffy "smurf coats." Limited supply.). Just another example of how the new shade of blue is a huge step forward for the organization. Now we can offer a lot more of the authentic team gear at the merch stands. Last year, it simply wasn't possible because of the quantities produced by adidas. That shouldn't be an issue anymore.
Got an email from Brad Porter tonight. He told me that Metro Sports will apparently be broadcasting the new conference tomorrow from Argentina at 1:25 central time. Just an FYI.
Here's Porters blog entry on it http://kcondemand.com/Article.aspx?Id=9775&CatID=15 1:25 PM with Cotton and Dave Stewart 1:30 PM from Argentina with Heineman, Vermes, Onalfo and Lopez
