Well, not the best league in the world, but it is a start for him. Hopefully he can get noticed and then work his way up. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/halifax_town/3999813.stm
Best club in the world though That said, has he actually got round to signing yet, I've seen reports he is about to, but not one to say he actually has yet.
Thanks for the update. Perhaps he is having work permit problems? Hopefully he signs sooner then later.
That being said he might of, the other player mentioned in that article, Alex Meechan, has made an appearance now and I haven't heard anymore about him either. Don't think work permit should be a problem, doesn't he have dual nationality anyway. It'd be hard for a player to get to a club such as Halifax if he needed a work permit. To qualify I'd have thought you'd be of an ability level where you could play higher up the pyramid. Also I'm due to head over to the game to play Northwich this weekend (it's the closest Conference ground to me), so I might spot him if he has signed.
Well he was in the starting XI today, so he has signed then. He worked pretty hard, seemed to be all over the place, so a promising start for that. Didn't doing anything spectacular, either good or bad, but a respectable game nevertheless. Although I'd be surprised if he'd get in a team with all players available for selection at present. Stayed on the pitch for 65 minutes, at which point it was [result]0-0[/result]. Finished [result]2-1[/result] for the record, in case anyone has videoed the game .
