Not knowing your situation, I'll just throw this out there in case it might be helpful to you or someone else (as I've posted before, I've been helping my students get out, especially the LGBT+ ones). I was able to watch a bit of the after-speech "festivities" on YouTube. Three things jumped out to me.

First, there was a pretty 16ish (I'm terrible at judging) female wearing a very short red dress and who otherwise had the "Ivanka-look". The orange fascist ended up standing right next to her. I was starting to feel sorry for her, even if she is attached to that family.

Second, Kimberly Guilfoyle is not popular among the orange fascist's family: she kept trying to find someone to stand next to and chat with, but no one was interested. Even Junior stood on the other side of the stage from her while everyone else stood next to their spouse.

Third, where was Barron? Mommie dearest was there, but I don't remember him being there.

 

Frankly, I don't know what the discussion is about. He's toast. You can rally around Biden and push back on the narrative all you like, but, if your discussion regards his mental acuity, you've already lost. I can't express this enough, it's over for him and no amount of fight from the Dems is going to matter. Or help.

Now, I do agree you go full throttle on the things Biden accomplished and his stewardship the last four years. I fully feel he is going to be looked at more positively by history than may be realized, especially sandwiched, possibly, between an absolute disaster of a POTUS in Trump.

Unfortunately, I'll be dead at this time and have lived through the quasi-fascist conservative dystopia of the MAGA years because the Dems couldn't properly get their shit together.

 

That's strange, because he's no liberal. He's an integral figure in a right-wing crypto scam involving the DJT token.
