Pre-WW II Japan didn't have any regulations on the press. The newspapers were all completely gung-ho about the authoritarian government and had no problems.

I'd be surprised if CNN wasn't "debating" the "merits" of Project 2025 given their management the past several years.

 

CNN has actually been bringing attention to it for a while now. When you consider who their main hosts are, including gay men, black women & Jewish men, they know they are in the firing line (literally) if the felonious fascist wins. People who don't watch CNN or read the website on a regular basis might not be aware of how CNN has talked about it, but they have and it is always in a negative way.

That was the first thing I thought. Now looking at the sloppiness of the shooter and how he is now dead so can't tell us anything. Then the witness comments on the sloppiness of security? I mean who stops for a photo op while being shot at unless you don't believe it's for you. Plus the last time secret service has to rush the stage, he looked like little soft cock!!
