I suppose it's possible, but it always, always, seems that the most vocal ones end up in some scandal, whether they are religious leaders, politicians, or even your average citizen who is only "thinking of the children". Let's put it this way - the number of drag queens who have been caught molesting children is insignificant compared to the number of religious leaders/politicians who think drag queens should not be allowed near children.

Just for fun, remember vociferously anti-gay National Association of Evangelical Churches president Ted Haggard and his pronouncement about how evangelicals have great sex - but then a few days later it comes out that he was having great sex with a male prostitute while doing drugs. Good times! Seriously, if it has no bearing on your life in any way, shape or form, you're not going to be too concerned about it.
#truth To me, that's a much better way to phrase it. The molestation is coming from inside the house...but most people in the house aren't molesters. Worrying about the people outside the house who are acting and dressing (I mean, this is what drag is, right?) in a very ostentatious way is stupid. It's just ludicrous on its face. "Hey, I'm going to commit possibly the most heinous crime in our culture, but first, I'm going to draw massive attention to myself by doing drag, so I won't have any chance of getting away with it." Drag queens aren't like Trump, they're too smart for that.
There's a reason gay escorts clean up at things like the RNC and CPAC. I do agree with Sounders that anytime I hear a right wing person scream about sex (Not just LGBTQ+) but sex in general, I assume they're up to something. Reagan and Nancy for instance, were both known to sleep around constantly. We had that whole cuckolding thing with the Falwels, and how many Moral Majority preachers in the 80s were found having affairs on the side? And IIRC, you had Larry Craig as your avatar as a gag after he got busted. I'm as open minded as they get, but it's the hypocrisy or in this case projection that annoys me.
I can't think what the term is off the top of my head, but it's more "look over there at what they're doing; pay no attention to me and what I'm doing". I guess the term is DISTRACTION
Turdley was taken to Wasserman Schoolz... "So essentially your responses to the questions here today were your own opinion and pure conjecture" -- Wasserman Schultz highlights what an utter clown @JonathanTurley is pic.twitter.com/V9ZhpHWBms— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) February 9, 2023
Dems introducing legislation to expel Devolder-Santos-RobertoCarlos-DosPassos Enough is enough: My colleagues and I are introducing legislation to expel George Santos from the United States Congress. If Kevin McCarthy refuses to hold George Santos accountable, then we will. pic.twitter.com/HT9xPJ0aBa— Ritchie Torres (@RitchieTorres) February 9, 2023
Oh great, now Republicans will try to expel any Congressional person of color because Democrats have set a precedent saying it's ok to expel people they don't like. (Never mind what the actual reasons are)
That was precisely what Rep. Wasserman Schultz was saying/asking. Edit: Listening to that testimony is so infuriating. The fact that he stated his "research" was reading the so-called "Twitter files" absolutely demonstrates that, beyond all reasonable doubt, that Jonathon Turley is a complete fraud.
True, but they need to be badgered about it. It does no good to just tag the GOP - they know they are, in this case, antisemitic. We should be making them uncomfortable to not reporting this.
James O’Keefe is going through some things. Basically, he’s an immature, shitty, arrogant person to work for, which is the least surprising news you’ll see this year, and is on paid leave as the board evaluates him.
"It was a long and hard journey, fought day and and day out. I stood alone among the members of Congress with little support and recognition of all the trials and baptisms of fire that I had to endure. Everybody doubted the number of bills I was writing. The doubted the novels I had written. They doubted the Pulitzer I had won. They doubted my nomination for the Bookman...Booker award I received. All they heard were the rumors and the Democrats became jealous of my success and prestige. To prove to all of them who I was, I had to write the 'Resolution in the Matter of George Santos.'" It was the only way for me to stand up and be heard." - Taken from the autobiography of George Santos.
I thank you for your service, but that is WAY more information than I need to know about James O'Keefe. Damn you, now I looked it up. Oh, so, he was putting employees through 'Public crucifixions'! I mean, what head of a non-profit (and Project Veritas is, technically, a 501(c)(3)) hasn't done that at least once or twice?!?
The Autobiography of George Santos starts plainly: "July 22, 1988-New York, no, maybe Brazil, or was that Ukraine? Irregardless: It was the best of times, it was the worst of times" and ends, interestingly: "The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which." AND "He loved Big Brother." (my zog, it was difficult for me to type ir-regardless).
