I'm 50...life is good. I think we follow each other on the facebooks (or did at one point) so you can tell.
I still believe that one useful definition for Trump supporters is: "White people who peaked in High School."
Again...the core Trump demographic is a) high income b) low education c) rarely attends church d) self identified evangelical

You (and others) might dig this Bulwark article . . . On the split among the illiberal right between religious and seculars. Long, but worth it. https://www.thebulwark.com/the-growing-religious-secular-rift-on-the-illiberal-right/ The author has his Ph.D. In history from Chapel Hill, incidentally. The conclusion But after Dobbs, what are Christian conservatives to support? To the extent that they sincerely believe progressives oppose their faith, perhaps Christian conservatives would take as their goal a state they don’t see as actively hostile. This impulse is understandable, but it’s also overstated and counterproductive. In particular, the bargain that evangelicals struck with Trump has done enormous damage to their public perception. What does it tell skeptics when evangelicals throw in their lot with a cruel, venal, and unrepentant man like Trump? Or that leading Southern Baptists associate with movements inspired by the Hungarian strongman Viktor Orbán? Christians must avoid the temptation to empire. They should quit wishcasting, stop calling for Barabbas, consider their witness, and ask themselves, What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain a nation, and lose his own soul?

GA Supreme Court sides with having more voting options for its citizens If Republicans were a football team they would insist on only playing home games, picking the refs and that the opposing team only put 8 players on the field.— Beacher (@Beacher50) November 23, 2022
If you want to know where the Republicans would like to go, consider this bill that passed the Russian lower house. It amends the already existing law with the following:
Well yeah. And I went to HS with a lot of those people in rural Nebraska in the 80’s. To my mind, “peaked in High school” doesn’t mean somebody went on to be a socio-economic loser in adulthood. It means you stopped growing as a human being fairly young in life; in fact you’re likely proud of the fact that your worldview hasn’t significant evolved since you were old enough to drive.

These people get nuttier and nuttier and downright scary at times. "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution necessary." An Arizona voter warned the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors that they could face the death penalty or a violent revolution due to perceived problems with the 2022 midterm elections. Prior to certifying the 2022 election on Monday, the county Board of Supervisors listened to testimony from angry voters claiming the election had been stolen from some Republican candidates. A woman named Kathy Roscoe told the supervisors that she came to the hearing "to get an up close and personal look at the seven traitors to the United States Constitution." "I will not repeat your election crimes," Rosco said. "I will just say, not certifying the machines constitutes a form of interference and in case no one has enlightened you people, interference in an election in the United States of America, Mr. Gates, is a capital offense; it's considered treason punishable by the death penalty!" The woman demanded a "new 2022 state election not run by the people at this desk." "The voting booth is supposed to be a time for a peaceful revolution," she added. "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution necessary."
This would be a good time for you to review the Crazification Factor post. That seems like General Crazification.
