Jeff Agoos and Wade Barrett will suit up for DC United against Tottenham Hotspur next Thursday. Goose and Barrett will help replace the injured Ryan Nelsen and Brandon Prideaux on United's backline.

United leaves on Saturday and Goose/Barrett will join DCU for practice in London beginning next Monday.

Hmm, I wonder what happened to the third guest player. Should be cool to see the highlights on SkySports.

Looks like Wade and Goose had an adventure in London. From the DC site:

"In a scene right out of National Lampoon's European Vacation, D.C. United was the recipients of an unexpected tour of London upon arrival Saturday night. A planned 45 minute bus ride from Heathrow International Airport to the team hotel lasted more than twice that as the driver became lost in the city. Among the highlights were three trips across the Tower Bridge and guest defender Jeff Agoos' one-liner, "I've never before had jet lag after a bus ride."

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Great line there by Goose.

But poor Goose. I will never forget my trip to Heathrow and then on the bus to Cambridge. I've never been so exhausted in my life. That bus ride musta sucked for DC!!!!

Woo hoo!! I was just gonna say that!

I'm setting the VCR. I'll just have to block out the fact that it's DC scum.

This is so sweet, the Spurs are fifth in the EPL aren't they? I am going to have to order FSW just for this game. Barrett is going to show everyone watching what he's made of (i can't believe he didn't get defender of the year).

This doesn't give anything away so I thought I'd post it here.

They just said DC United of the MSL.

    Brilliant, just brilliant!
