    The most interesting part of that is the country graph.

    In every country but US and Canada DC United is the highest of all

    That proves DC United is more popular outside America and Canada than all the other teams in the Washington DC area. DC United is Washington DC's international sports ambassador.

    You can tell its not expats looking too cause you'd epect them to be as interested or more interested in the Nationals and Redskins. The exception to this is Germany which is way more interested in the Washington Capitals than anything else...

    Yes this has been brought up before. If you click on most of the links I provided you will see i used Major League Soccer not MLS.

    Wow....
    One thing you instantly notice is the seasonal nature of both leagues but I am very suprised to see Major League Soccer consistently a more popular search and news event.

    I guess the strike really hurt the NHL

    One thought might be that unlike Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer, the NBA and NHL are often referred to by their acronym.
